About
Richard Oleff established RLO in 2003. He possesses
a wealth of experience in event production, promotions,
marketing and sponsorship sales. Oleff started his career
big, working for three years at MDM Group on the production
of the Chicago Air and Water Show. For the next few
years, he turned his sights to broadcast media, eventually
becoming On-premise Special Events Manager for Chicago
stations WLUP, WMVP and WRCX (Rock 103.5) of Evergreen
Media Corporation, and then became Marketing Director
for WRCX.
In
1996, Oleff embarked on a new journey, taking on independent
project work that included Grand Opening events at Fields
BMW and Jeep, consulting on Rock 103.5’s RockStock,
as well as State Delegation parties for the 1996 Democratic
National Convention.
Richard
went on to work for KBA Marketing as an Account Executive
on the Coors Light account and in 1998 became Director
of Marketing for Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria and spent over
5 years overseeing 20 restaurant and carry-out locations,
an extremely successful mail order business and a growing
catering business.
In
November 2003, Richard again went out on his own forming
RLO. Since then, he has worked as the Project Manager
on the $23 Million Kohl Children’s Museum and has created
and implemented marketing plans, promotions, internet
marketing and events for a long list of clients. Oleff
has established a strong team of freelancers at RLO
to ensure that your project will be delivered on time
